Rehab Aide

Pulaski Health & Rehabilitation Centerin Pulaski, Virginia is seeking a Rehab Aidefor our Therapy Department.
The Rehab Aide provides direct care to patients in support of patient rehabilitation to promote patient independence, wellness, and restoration of patient function.
The Rehab Aide assists patients in the completion of functional mobility tasks and activities of daily living (ADLs) in coordination with therapy and nursing departments.
The Rehab Aide assists in the coordination and scheduling of rehabilitation activities, and transports patients as scheduled to and from the treatment areas.
This individual assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment areas and collaborates with center staff to promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being for the patients.
Job Qualifications, Skills and Abilities, and Physical Demands:
High School Diploma or GED CNA certification required Sufficient verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate, comprehend, understand, and write messages, and follow directions Good telephone etiquette Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching Frequent patient handling and transferring over 100 pounds Frequent repetitive pushing, pulling, and grasping up to 50lbs, occasional up to 100 pounds Team player with a great attitude and a passion for good customer service.
