YOUR ROLE
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading the quality function reporting directly to the Plant Manager. You will coordinate quality standards with engineering, purchasing, production, and production control.
You will the point person for both internal and external customers facilitating and maintaining strong professional relationships.
You will be responsible for administering the quality control program to exceed customer specifications or requirements for incoming materials and finished goods.
You will provide leadership to build effective teams to support continuous improvement initiatives to create a competitive advantage.
You will collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze and administer program for rejections, chargebacks, returns, corrections of defective materials and shipped finished goods.
You will work intimately with various departments to obtain and supply information to sustain the quality management system throughout the facility.
You will provide leadership and guidance for all continuous improvement activities and scrap reduction programs
BACKGROUND PROFILE
5 to 10 years of quality management leadership experience.
Intermediate computer skills in MS office products and SPC software
experience in ISO 9000:200, ISO 14001 and/or ISO/TS16949:2002
Experience with problem solving tools and techniques (SPC, FMEA, EIT)
Maintain ISO 9000 and/or ISO/TS16949 Certification
Strong communication skills both orally and written.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
